B-Side Show at Gil Vicente
After a long and arduous build-up season, Kayman’s B-Side show finally happened on April 1st, 2023. Electric isn’t enough to define the atmosphere surrounding the place. Kayman has a very dedicated fanbase and it is clear that he not only has the natural talent, but the charisma and the chops to put on a good show. The most impressive feat that day was not his ability to rap (which he does very well), but his ability to entertain the audience in more ways than one, despite it being a rap performance.
The show was scheduled to start at 15:00 GMT. The process to kick it off was slow, but steady and definite. The show was going to happen at all costs, and it did, at little cost. It started at 17:00 with a beautiful opening act by Craus. His voice left the crowds in awe and he definitely left his mark on stage. The people didn’t want to see him go, and asked for more songs by him. It almost seemed like he was going to steal the show. He really almost did. Fortunately, there was enough of a spotlight to go around, and the man himself, the main man, the star of the show himself, Kayman, showed up and lit the crowd’s ears on fire with the most dazzling, epic, outspoken, confident performance Hekate Media has ever seen by a rapper. Truly, Mozambique has some hidden talent that Hekate Media will be very happy to expose to the world.
The stage was taken by his presence and he began his performance. It being a B-Side Show meant that he was to perform some songs that are throwbacks first. Surely, his fans knew all of his songs. They did. They sang along with him. We might as well have paid them all for their equally beautiful vocals and knowledge of the lyrics. Assisted by the band and the two members of his team “We On It”, Tamires and Jurema, who provided the vocals to beautify his music, he graced us all with 40 songs. That’s right. 40 songs. Kayman doesn’t play. He went there to work, and that’s exactly what he did.
What followed was the second part of the show, which is what qualified it as the B-Side show. This was a live performance, which he did with his illustrious band. Their practice sessions paid off. They put on quite a show for the people and stood out, even beyond Kayman’s rapping. The way the show unfolded was just awe-inspiring. Any upcoming rapper should definitely go for lessons with Kayman. He didn’t just sing his songs. He interacted with the people as well, and got them as involved as he possibly could in the show.
Even when the band fell behind, Kayman egged them on and his beautiful vocalists followed. The show went on. It was certainly something to behold. Aside from the epic lyrics, he showed us some of his…moves. Those moves certainly made a few girls blush because they were very…impressive. He even put his popping muscles on display and that most certainly made a few faces in the audience turn red.
The show went on for over two and a half hours, and the crowds were left satisfied. They were happy to help in the growth of Kayman’s music career. The turnout was good, and we could not have asked for anything more. We will come back with bigger and better shows in the future, and you're the first to know.

Yeah, that was the list of all 40 songs that were performed. As one can see, he is inclined to making love music. He is a very emotionally expressive person, and aims to show that we can be in touch with our emotions and still continue to be good people despite all the heartbreak that typically comes with being so nice.
The first 30 songs were the first part of the show, and the B-Side was the last 10 songs. Which one of them was your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.
